In this paper,based on the superior molybdenum metallogenic geological conditions of Hongluo mountain-Wuzhi mountain area,after systematic studying the molybdenum metallogenic geological characters,complete the metalogenetic prospective prognosis job suing the weight evidence method based on Mapgis and Excel.Extract thirteen favorable ore-forming factors,delineate four first order prospective areas,twelve secondary prospective areas,two third order prospective areas.Except for the areas those include molybdenum mine,their also six prospective areas that have not been found any mines,as soon as Bajiazi area.While perfectly solve how to use mathematical geology method combined with newly arisen GIS technology, complete the effective synthetic information mineralization prediction. Finally,visually display the result by visual charts,overcome the disadvantages of only sue single subject when people do metallogenic prognosis job,ensure that the prognosis is convenient and accurate.
