For the past few years,Lattice Boltzmann Method is becoming an efficient method used for simulating complex fluid computing. Based on mesoscopic particle background, Lattice Boltzmann Method has many other exclusive advantages. From a physical standpoint, Lattice Boltzmann Method could deal with complicated interaction between fluid and boundary, different fluid component (phase state), different fluid interface and so on. From a computing standpoint, Lattice Boltzmann Method is show time propulsion method, which makes its computational efficiency exceeds traditional numerical method. Meanwhile, the evolutionary process of Lattice Boltzmann Method is quite brief and clarity, program is also quite concise.Marangoni convection is the flow which is quite typical in the base of microgravity, but is a kind of phenomenon which is quite important in microgravity environment. Marangoni convection is a flow which derived from uniform surface tention, which makes it is relevant to free surface or interface. Lattice Boltzmann method is rarely applied in Marangoni convection with Soret effect. The article proposes that Lattice Boltzmann Method be used for simulating Marangoni convection with Soret effect in 2D Rectangular cavity. Velocity field adopts incompressible D2G9 model, temperature field and concentration field both adopt D2G5 model, then the pure thermal problem coupled with solutal-dominated regime. But we emphasize on discussing the latter. The purpose of the paper is discussing how the streamlines, contours of temperature and concentration changes with different parameters, including velocity , temperature and concentration on the free surface, horizontal velocity in X=A/2 location. The paper emphasizes on Marangoni convection with Soret effect .
