Quark Theory has played a very important role in the construction ofQuantum Chromodynamics and Standard Model. Mainstream history of physicsusually regards conceptual, logical process and formalized mathematical asphysics development's core characteristics, which is important for theoryunderstanding but not comprehensive and objective enough.On the one hand, theory has its own independent structure and evolutionroute. It is inevitable for Quark Theory to move towards unification in the pursuitof maximum explanatory power. Quark Theory was proposed under the historicalcontext of competition among three different research programmes and ultimatelyunified in gauge field program. Physics is the history of theory towards tounification. On the other hand, accelerators, detectors as well as data acquisitionanalysis devices constitute the interface between particle physics and its researchobjects. Theory construction process can be intensively affected by the nonlogicalityand contingency of technology practice and the intentionality oftechnical tools. Therefore, from the angle of technology practice and the context ofunified theory, historically and dynamically describing Quark Theory'sconstruction based on the deeply technical understanding, which is the analysisframework for this thesis. Phenomenal entity represented by technical tools is thelogical starting point of Quark Theory construction, which is the process ofseeking explanation for new physical objects and physical facts represented byaccelerators and detectors. Quark Theory eventually won the right to exist bygenerating most new thoughts and new theories with the continuous progress oftechnical system. Quark Theory is not only the result of historical variousdeveloping theories competition, disappearance and ultimately towards unification,but also the selective outcome of constantly evolving technical system. Purelyfrom the technical perspective, Quark Theory is a useful clue towards totechnology entity, the theoretical prospect of technical system developmentselection in the course of history. The main objective of high-energy experimentaltechnology development is to obtain greater collision energy, higher collisionefficiency and more accurate coordinated detection means. Such technologysystem is particularly advantageous to the success of gauge field theory based onatomic theory as well as the development of Quark Theory. Overall technologyenvironment evolution is conducive to the success of Quark Theory since StandardModel's establishment in 1947.Quark Theory development history indicates that scientific instruments, primitive innovation capability must be strengthened. Theory can only obtains itsexistence value by realizing its reasonable evolution in the system composed bytechnology and theory itself, as well as through its own predictive power toconstantly adapt to technology construction. It is more necessary than ever forphysics research to combine with engineering technology.
