Aiming at the problem of bird damages in the high-voltage power transmission line and applying Principles of Biology, the subject designs a new kind of ultrasonic bird driving device applied to high-voltage power transmission poles after researching the bird driving mechanism of ultrasonic. This bird driving device can replace the traditional bird driving devices, enhance the bird driving effect and solve the bird damages in the high-voltage power transmission line drastically. In the subject, Laser Speckle Interferometry was applied to measurethe micro-vibration of bird's eardrum driven by ultrasonic. The results show that the vibrating amplitude of bird's eardrum and the frequency of the ultrasonic are correlative. When the frequency of the ultrasonic is between 20 KHz and 80 KHz, the vibrating amplitude is maximum (between 40nm and 80nm), then the frequency of the ultrasonic is greater than 80 KHz, the vibrating amplitude is decreasing gradually. Based on the results of experiments, the ultrasonic bird driving device was designed. The design uses the MCU PIC16C54 as the central control unit, and has realized the design of software and hardware system. The solar battery and Lead storage battery was used as UPS. The special ultrasonic circuit was used to discrete random variational ultrasonic. The photoelectric detection circuit was used to detect the birds and relevant measures were taken to avoid misinformation occurring. Because the high-voltage power transmission line is outdoors and the light condition nearby it is relatively complex, the design integrates four photoelectric detection signal sources in a photoelectric detection probe and uses the method of software control to process the signals, which avoid the misinformation occurring finally. The design uses software to control MCU to discrete the ultrasonic electric signal and adopts power amplifying circuit to amplify this signal. At last, speaker is used to convert electric signal to ultrasonic and send it out.The design has been testified through a lot of simulated and field testing, gets a better effect of driving birds and can be successfully applied to the high-voltage power transmission line. Comprehensive functions, advanced technology and lower price all provide the ultrasonic driving birds device extensive social benefit and economic benefit and wide application prospect.
