Research On The Status Of Tidal Resources In China Using Remote Sensing Technology

Reclamation is an important way to expioit the coastal space resources and the effective means of human exploring living space and production space from the ocean. In most area of our country coastal line, tidal flat supports the devepoment of reclamation space resources.As dynamic growth of intertidal reserve, tidal flat in China is widely distributed, ample area. From the north to the south of Liaoning, Guangdong, Guangxi, and other ten provinces and cities (excluding Hainan) are distributed in coastal tidal flat.After appropriate reclamation activities,it is very important for many aspects, such as the cultivated land supplement, population migration and expansion of the economic development.However, After the long high strength reclamation, the scale of tidal flat reclamation has exceeded the speed of the prograding mud flat now, resulting in reversal of the evolution of coastal beaches.Above all, it is necessary to comprehensively master the distribution of the prograding mud flat,tidal volume of existing resourcesand and every coastal segment stock in every province. Based on this, it is useful to scientifically plan the reclamation and development and utilization of tidal flats resources and determine the provincial scale reclamation of tidal flats,in order to promote its sustainable development.According to the National Tidal landform unit, sedimentary environment, regard of the similarity of controlling factors of tidal flats evolution,this paper will be divided into two major types:plain type and embayment type.Meanwhile,make the North-west of Bohai Bay and Yueqing Bay of Zhejiang as the examples of the two types in order to determine the others'methods of interpretation. Firstly, select thirteen remote sensing images of the latest low tide cover the whole country,then make use of the remote sensing technology to extract the coast line and water line,. After this, the coast line as the inner boundary and the corrected water line as the outer boundary are determined. And then,state the different types of coast tidal resources along with the stock of every provincial tidal resources.Above all,give the national distribution of tidal resources. The prograding tidal flat resources are totally 8943.407square kilometers in 2010, plain type resources is6060.68 square kilometers and the other type is 2866.409 square kilometers,which accounted for 29% in Jiangsu Province.The second is Province of Fujian, accounted for 16%, Province of Zhejiang is the third in nationwide.The reclamation resources is 15757.39square kilometers in 2010. On the basis of China Statistical Yearbook between the 1991 and1994,the gross is about 2.35million hectare. Papers analyze the data errors from the reclamation resources, Statistical standards of the resources, tidal and other aspects.Due to the different statistical standards and increasing reclamation cause the different tidal effects.Overall, because of the large-scale reclamation activities,the tidal resource have reduced recent.
