At present, the ways of expressing object information basically stay on two-dimensional. Optical holographic promoted the development of true three-dimension technology. Optical holography is the use of principles of light interference and diffraction to record and to reproduce the true three-dimensional object information, acquisition of optical phase distribution has a very big impact on the holographic display. Due to the optical phase contains the most abundant information of imaging objects, the related phase retrieval problem also in adaptive optics, laser beam quality detection, diffraction optics and other fields has important applications. The Study on phase retrieval algorithm has become a lot of domestic academic focus.The key of this thesis is how to structure better retrieval algorithm to obtain the optical field phase distribution by the measuring light intensity information. The major work of this thesis is as follows.First of all, this thesis summarizes background, importance and research status of phase retrieval algorithm. In related optical theoretical foundation, Describes the basic principles of optical holographic display, and further knows the light amplitude and phase distribution respective function. Because the light frequency is higher, Existing instruments can only capture light field intensity information, it is difficult to directly obtain phase information, and Phase retrieval algorithm is the use of intensity information to restore the light field phase.The second, this thesis proposes a new improved algorithm. The thesis has made the classification and analysis of two ways of phase retrieval via light intensity, one is through the iteration method and another by solving TIE equation. In the study of the advantages and disadvantages of each phase recovery algorithm, the thesis proposes one algorithm which can recover phase distribution of input plane by iterative calculating intensity information on the focal plane and another two defocused planes. This thesis has performed the simulation experiment according to improved algorithm, effects of the recovered phase have a good promotion, simulation result shows the feasibility of this algorithm. Finally, in aspects of phase diagram applications, this thesis has made a series of experiments and research about watermark hiding technology and related principles of the leading Fourier phase. Watermarking hidden technology has become the main technology of property rights protection that can be applied in many fields. This thesis proposes another application realization of the phase image, implementation and applications of Fourier phase image watermarking hidden. This thesis has given a detailed elaboration of the experiment, computer simulated the experimental results which proved the feasibility of the scheme.
