| Based on the studies of tectonic styles, zones and inner deformation patternsfrom foreland thrust belt at Niukong area of Lvchun, combined with geology,structural geology, ore deposit and sedimentary, structural controls on thehydrothermal and sedimentary ore spots are discussed.Through the field investigations, 6 thrust faults and 7 segments are recognizedto form a typical foreland thrust belt. According to the deformation difference, thenappe is classified into thrust-controlling type, thrust-fold- controlling type andfold-controlling type. Based on the researches of bow-arrow pattern, degrees ofinclination and space distribution of unconformity, we believe that orientation of thethrust is from NE to SW.Geological studies suggest the ore spots can be divided into three categories,sedimentary, hydrothermal and sedimentary- hydrothermal reformation. Strata andsedimentary environments are the major controlling factors of the sedimentary orespots; hydrothermal ore spots are controlled by structures and fluids, and thesedimentary- hydrothermal reformation ore spots are dependent on the strata,sedimentary environment and deformation and overlap of the fluid.Based on the discussions above, Carboniferous system, Permian system andupper Triassic system are targeted areas, while the junctions of multi-stages structuresin the thrust segments are candidates for the hydrothermal ore spots;edimentary-hydrothermal ore spots require a comprehensive analysis.
