Sea surface temperature (SST) means the temperature taken from 50cm depth of the sea surface; it always changes from time to time. SST is one of the most important elements of the ocean hydrology. And its variation does a vital part to ocean-atmosphere physical condition and characteristic, especially the impact of the global climate .The analysis of SST variation and prediction is the key content of ocean-atmosphere science. It has important significance in economic and development of the Ocean.In winter, when cold surge comes, the sea water temperature will drop soon, and it always causes damage to the Aquaculture. In summer, rainstorms fall down to the surface and flow to the rivers. And when rivers go into sea, it will lower the temperature of the sea water, too. The essay based on the data of three marine stations in Guangxi Province, and it analyzed the characteristics of the diurnal variability, annual variability and the interdecadal variability. Some impact factors were selected, including solar radiation, tides, rivers, precipitation.Based on the analysis of the low SST in winter, the author analyzed the relationship between the southwestlies monsoon and the rainfalls and draught and the tropical cyclone. The author tried to figure out whether we could make a long term climate prediction from low SST in winter.
