On the guide of sequence stratigraphy, architectonic geology and structural sedimentology ,in accord with the standard of layering sign of traditional boundary, connected by the synthetic, comparison method was established. Seismic data was learned carefully and detailedly. Careful tracking comparison explanation was taken with the connection of wells and seismic data. With the tracking comparison and well characteristics, well layers was determined, isochronal stratigraphic boundaries were established. Make sure the important structure distruction character, the area of structure and evolution law. Velocity field was established. Time structure contours, structure contours, velocity plane map, hrizon thickness map, structure superposition map and structure evolution across had been made. Structure character of the area had been analyzed. Structure had been classified. Development time and evolution character of important structure had been analyzed. Structure system cause of shallow and middle layer and the relationship of structure development time and oil reservoir had been researched. Horizen, structure, resource potential and oil reservoir had been clearly learned.In accord with three important seismic boundaries instead of important unconformity—T5, T4, T3, T03, research area can devide into four structure area-- structural layer of fault depression, structural layer of fault depression conversion, depression structural layer, and reversal structural layer. The characteristics of the area was like a belt from west to east, folded doming-up region. In the early period of fault depression, force direction was from north to west, which had formed many structure units. Reversal force had an impact on research area in the late period, which formed compound reversal structure which was raised at top and concave at bottom and saddle anticline which was high at south and north and low in the middle. Comparatively the structure is simple. Structure of meridian direction of strike had been formed in the research area. Main structure patterns were extend structure and reversal structure. The patterns of extend structure were fracture break belts, fracture belts. The patterns of reversal structure were structural reversion and compound reversion. Structure and sequence stratigraphy of mingshuisuihua area had been analyzed. With balanced cross section, we learned the research bad three priods—the period of fault depression extend, steadily depressed period and reversal transformatiom period. Main types of oil reservior in research area were structure reservior and structural lithologic deposit. Structural action controlled the gather of oil. Oil mainly gathered at mature generating rock and high structure place of adjacent area. Covering the oil and conveying oil as a tunnel were the effects of structure of research area.
