From drilling and production situation of Xinli-Xinbei, Heidimiao gas reservoirs mainly belong to the lower section of cretaceous of n3 formation, and many wells have high gas display in drilling or testing process. The gas reservoirs usually shallow, which have a certain potential of natural gas resource and convenient for the development and utilization.According to geological characteristics of the gas reservoir, this paper using seismic, drilling, well logging, gas testing and the well production data, based on theory of petroleum geology, geotectonics, sedimentology, and reservoir geology and supported by database. After study of geologic correlation, structural interpretation and distribution of reservoir, finally evaluated the gas reservoir reasonable.In this paper, at first, by using cycle-comparison and step control method for dividing bed set, the new result is more reasonably for development. Then by researching geologic characteristic, it draws dividing method for bed set and electronic logging standard for gas bearing sand thickness, and constructs faults distribution map, structural map, isopach map and sedimentary facies map, and defines depositional environment and reservoir nature. Secondary, by researching gas bearing formation reserves parameters in Sa0 group, it defines gas bearing sand thickness, oil-gas interface, gas bearing area, porosity, gas saturation and volume conversion factor etc. parameters, calculates and evaluates gas reserve.
