Study On Es₄ Carbonate Reservoir In Western Niuxintuo Oilfield

Niuxintuo oilfield is located in the northern part of the western Liaohe fault depression. Reservoir rocks of the 4th member of Shahejie formation are composed of coarse clasitic rocks and carbonate rocks. At present, the set reservoirs is untapped as many characteristics of reservoir lithology, physical properties, pore structure etc in carbonate reservoir area of the field are lack of cognition. To make geological characteristics of the set of carbonate reservoir formation clear and firm the basis for the next exploration, This fine study to the study area carbonate reservoir rock characteristics, pore characteristics, the vertical variation laws of the reservoir etc based on comprehensive collection information of the study area, used the seismic and well logging techniques, combined with the core observation,thin section and the DCA log processing,3DMOVE etc fracture prediction new technologies. The study systematicly reveals many geological characteristics such as distribution laws about lithology and physical properties of the carbonate reservoir rocks and the development of reservoir fractures etc in the study area. This study calculates the petroleum geological reserves of the set carbonate reservoir based on the fine reservoir study. The results of this paper not only provide the basis for the development of carbonate reservoirs in the area but also have a certain reference to other areas of Liaohe rift study of carbonate reservoir.
