Split Left GC-lpp Semigroups

In this thesis, a special class of left GC-lpp semigroups are studied. The thesis is divided into five sections.After providing some preliminaries and some characterizations of left GC-lpp semigroups, we defined the split left GC-lpp semigroup. In section 3, we obtain some propositions of split left GC-lpp semigroups. The main result is that a left GC-lpp semigroup is split if and only if it has a left adequate transversal. In section 4, a construction theorem for split GC-lpp semigroups is established. Finally, in section 5, we discuss some special cases of split left GC-lpp semigroups such as when the left transversal of S is a special semigroup.
