China is famous in the world for the aboudance of rare earth element. The industrial reserves rate of rare earth element in China is over 60 % of the world's reserves. With the increasing exploration and application of REEs resources, REEs inevitably enter the environment,the food chain and the organism. REEs analysis is of great importance in both theory and practical application. In order to meet modern industrial automation requirements, the researches were focused on the quality control analysis of REEs on line analysis. The higher sensitive detection of REEs analysis is required with the developing of technology. The content of the REEs in animals, plants and biological is usually in the ppm-ppb (10-6-10-9) level, and the REE concentrations in seawater are in the ppt (10-12) level. The high-tech materials have been proposed eight"9"ultra-pure REE material requirements, and the detection limit of trace REE is required to l0-10-10-12 level.Due to the different rare earth element has more or less different physical and chemical properties, especially different geological conditions often lead to different REEs distribution, the accurate analysis of REEs can be used to track and examine the formation and evolution of geological body, thus the REEs as a "tracer" is widely used in rocks, minerals and geochemical studies.In this paper, a high-resolution ICP-MS REEs (Element 2) test method was established. Aimed at the Nanyangtian scheelite mining, the geochemistry characteristic of REEs was discussed, the distribution of REE fractionation mechanism in ore and rock was analyzed; the role of REEs as well as REEs as tracers and the main symbiotic relationship between the ore-forming elements were investigated. The main understandings are following: 1,Because of its high sensitivity and relatively simple mass spectra, dynamic linear range, fast, multi-element and isotope analysis capabilities and other excellent features, ICP-MS is one of the best analysis in inorganic elements detection. In this study, the REEs test method which built on the high resolution ICP-MS (ELEMENT 2) is reliable and of high sensitivity, low detection limit, precision and accuracy are satisfactory.2,Wall rock most of NanYangtian scheelite mining are LREEs enrichment type, REE distribution patterns are characterized by a group of rightward-inclined curves, reflecting the strong fractionation of LREEs occurred during the rock diagenesis, and HREE weak. Significant in the low Eu site that has obvious negative Eu anomaly, reflecting in the process of rock-forming the parental magma experienced differentiation effect, also may be inherited protolith (basal shallow metamorphic series) features, presumably, the wall rock of NanYangtian scheelite mining belong to shell source type. Ore overall belong to enrichment of LREEs, but according to the different kinds of distribution features are also different.3,Through the comparative study of different types of scheelite ore REEs distribution patterns characteristic conclusion that the existence of two different causes of scheelite ore,, one is skarn scheelite which formed in the late metamorphism and deposited simultaneously with the formation of wall rock, the other is quartz veins scheelite with high REEs content which bring with late hydrothermal, making more mineralization enrichment.4,By comparing the tourmaline REEs distribution pattern of NanYangtian scheelite ore, Dachang tin-polymetallic ore, zinc ore, Canada Sullivan, reaches the area of two different occurrences of the (quartz) tourmaline, one for close relationship with layered layered scheelite mineralization (quartz) tourmaline, the other with formation of oblique tourmaline quartz veins. Through comparative analysis, the region's layered quartz tourmaline sedimentary origin for the spout, which indirectly indicates the initial scheelite deposit for the spout sedimentogenic origin, and formation of oblique tourmaline quartz veins initial guess may be related to mixed hydrothermal solution which magmatic hydrothermal as the main relevant, and the formation of oblique tourmaline quartz veins often contain lumpy, speckle scheelite, the characteristics of different types of output layer scheelite, presumably as the main source with the late magmatic hydrothermal hydrothermally formed. The results show that there are two different sources of tungsten, one for spout tourmaline accompanied by tungsten, two for later in granite hydrothermal as the main body, accompanied metamorphic hydrothermal, formation water hydrothermal carried of tungsten.5,Through the mining area trace elements of cluster analysis to see extremely close with the tungsten elements combinationW-Zn-Hf-Be, and REEs symbiotic relationship is not obvious.
