With the development of new technology and ecnonic in China in recent year, mobile phone as the communication tools in China is becoming more popular. Up to the end of 2005, here are 4600Milion users, and have 1/5 share the world market, so China is the biggest market too. China market is very very targh. Facing such marketiing satiation, market segment and target market selection is very important to mobile phone suppliers,based on the selected market ,price is becoming the key factor in this marketing, which affects the customer's purchasing behavior and competitors' marketing activities as well as company's image in the market. It will also influence company's profit and restrict company's survival and development. When we set up a pricing system in mobile phone, we should consider product market positioning, select the pricing objective and approach, define the factors influencing pricing.In the point of mobile phones developer, firstly to analyze the pricing process of commercial housing, then to establish the index system which influences handsets price and pricing model of handsets based on price competition. In the article, it is systematically analyzed via pricing objective, pricing strategy, pricing approach and pricing effect in XDF8 model.Basing on comparison research and qualitative combined with quantitative analysis between XDF8 and competitive model from other brand, adopting case studying and standard studying approaches, to elaborate the forming process of average price and selling price when the new models launches in the market. It proves that the synthetic approach is scientific and operational. After strength and weakness analysis through the specific handsets pricing system, hope to bring some valuable enlightenment to the pricing decision for handsets developer.The research in the article mainly lies in the following aspects: firstly to analysis XD's social environment and its own business sutiuation and then for the competitive suppliers to define the market segment and then to find the target market, then to identify what is handsets price and its affecting factors, then to bring out the purpose and significance of handsets pricing, next to establish pricing process, finally, to analyze and evaluate XDF8 pricing system in theory and case studying by handsets pricing model and quantitative price index.
