Scientific Enterprise Capable Of Innovative Performance Analysis

As the development of biotechnology, biomedicine and biopharmacy seem to be great profitable and warm welcomed. The data in National Bureau of Statistics of China shows, the biopharmacy has developed at a speed much faster than the average. Grupp stated that biotechnology/pharmacy industries are strongly based on science. Berjamin said the emergence of biopharmacy represent a new "science-based innovation" mode.Since the technology has practical direction to the industry, science-based innovation has been in the shade of technology-based innovation for a long time and did not get enough attention it should derive. In order to remedy the neglect, we begin with the essential difference between science and technology, then emphasize on the science-based innovation in biopharmacy.First, based on the reference of national science capability, industrial technology capability and some research of industrial science-dependence, industrial new capability, we define the industrial science capability and make up a mode to discuss its effect to companies' innovation.Second, we make an empirical study to understand the science capability in biopharmacy company better. With the analysis of data by SPSS, we find that both the inner-science capability and the outer-science capability have great impact on the innovation, not just through the intervention of technology capability, but also their direct influence. And the team of scientists, share of hardware for basic research, as well as the transfer of base research outcome seems to be more important than other factors.Then, we discuss the result with a concrete case-Genaco Biomedical Product. Moreover, we propose a science-based development mode and give some advice to the biopharmacy companies.
