Qingyang City Economic Development Strategy

Since the reform and opening up policy, the regional economic of QingYang city has been developed quite greatly and the people's living standards there have been improved step by step. However, the economic development of this city is relatively backward due to the laggard culture, hardy nature condition, weakness of economy foundation, poor management and impracticable strategies of economic development. Although some scholars and local officials have probed into the economic development strategies of QingYang city, the reference value is not great. It incorporates as follows: Some scholars have studied the economic development strategies of QingYang city by applying simply such theories as Growth Pole Theory, Core-periphery Geographical Theory and Network Development Theory, but they didn't study them from history, culture, human environment, market economy, nature resource, weather, innovation spirit of enterpriser, the relationship between industries and core competitiveness, and the results of study are good in theory but poor in practice. Some other scholars have studied the from the point of view of pure engineering technique, but they neglected the input & output, cost budget, so there are no profits and the development strategies cannot bring into effect. Some officials are familiar with the local district, but the development strategies what they write are the economic work summaries for lack of the systemic economic theory knowledge and profound business experience, thus they can hardly play an impelling role in the economy development.The author was born in QingYang city and grew up there, and studies economic theory knowledge for a long period, and has mastered the knowledge of regional economics, finance, revenue, accounting and west culture and Chinese culture. What's more, the author lived in QingYang city for long time, and worked in the state-owned enterprises, the Development and Reform Commission for more than ten years, which makes me find that there are many problems existed in QingYang city. After studying the specialty knowledge related, consulting the data and considering, the author finds out the main problems that existed in the economy development, puts forward the methods to solve the problem, and wishes to offer some instructive ideas for the economy development of QingYang city.The thesis introduces the survey of QingYang city from some main factors of physical geography such as geography location, weather, water and natural resource.
