The national assets is the life line of the national economy. However, in these years,the losing of the State-Owned assets which ascribed varieties of factors is more and moresurprising, which has been arise the serious attention of The Central government and thepublic. Therefore, the article tries to analyze and study the rent-seeking behavior in themanagement of national assets with The Rent-Seeking Theory, so as to find some ways tohold back the state assets losing and perfect The management system of national assets.The article divided into four parts. The first part mainly gives a brief information ofRent-Seeking Theory. The second part, from three aspects: the rent-seeking behaviorwhich was lead to the Exterior Control, Insider Control, and the officer of The NationalProperty Supervision, the article discusses the representations of rent-seeking behavior inthe management of national assets. The third part, from three aspects: the market factor, thesystem factor, and the information factor, the article discusses the reasons of therent-seeking behavior in the management of national assets. In the end, the article givessome suggestion to eliminate the rent-seeking behavior in the management of nationalassets: carrying the breakaway of the government and the enterprise into execution,carrying the breakaway of the government and capital, making effect measure to reduce thecost of the Principal-Agency, consummating the system of the control and management ofnational assets, quickening the step of the national assets management legality.
