First of all, the article makes a statement about the formation, nature, characteristics of natural gas pricing mechanism in the main countries & regions of the world and analysis about major issues existing for domestic natural gas pricing by using systematic analyzing method. Then, a systematic study is done for main factors affecting natural gas pricing, principles & concept followed for pricing design by using inductive analyzing method. On the basis of this, ex-factory pricing and pipeline transport pricing are designed in details by using comprehensive analyzing method, the following concrete results are achieved:(1) Through the systematic analysis on the different stages of the world natural gas development & its pricing formation mechanism, the mechanism & nature of natural gas pricing formation for monopoly market & competitive market are clarified.(2) Through the systematic analysis on natural gas pricing mechanism in North America, natural gas pricing mechanism in Western Europe, natural gas pricing mechanism in Russia and natural gas pricing mechanism in some of the Asian Pacific countries, general development trend for foreign natural gas pricing has been summarized.(3) Through detailed analysis on domestic natural gas well pricing & management of pipeline transport pricing, major issues existing in present domestic natural gas well pricing & pipeline transport pricing are pointed out.(4) After detailed analysis on the formation & nature of foreign natural gas pricing mechanism and major issues existing in present domestic natural gas pricing, basic principles & concept followed for natural gas pricing are worked out.(5)Formula for natural gas ex-factory pricing and formula for pipeline transport pricing are studied respectively, the corresponding pricing formulas are worked out.
