Study Of China's Rural Cooperative Medical Insurance System

We have made great progress in economic and social development in nearly thirty years from reformation and opening. People's standard and living also improved ceaselessly. Meanwhile, however, we are faced with many problems which must be resolved. For example, the gap between country and town is getting wider and wider in the duality society. One aspect of this problem is the Medicare of peasantry, if this problem can't be resolved, it will damage our progress and will restrict the future development of economy. This thesis is based upon the practice of our country, analyzed the academic basis of founding and developing rural cooperative medical system. This thesis also reviewed the history of rural cooperative medical system in past years. It contained experience of other counties and regions, i.e. developed countries such as Japan, Germany, and Indian whose situation is more close to us. The thesis put forward the countermeasures to perfect our village cooperation medical treatment insurance system, including promoting the money-raised system and ascertaining the obligations of the government.
