Energy In The Process Of China's Peaceful Development

Since the beginning of the 21st century, the energy problem concentrated on the oil and nature gas has attracted great attention from the whole society. First, the energy security is the key guarantee of the establishment of general well-off society of our country. Second, the energy security becomes one of the key restriction elements that will probably restrict the development of our economy since our country has a higher and higher dependence on the import oil and nature gas. And the domestic oil and nature gas resources could not meet the requirement of the economy development. With the great gap between the consumption and the domestic production, our country should carry on the effects to cooperate with the resource countries by the means of peace, development and equality to solve the energy sources problem. Meanwhile, there are some differences between the globalization period and that before. Our country should not follow the ways of the western developed countries' violence and inequality, which is opposite to our socialistic national character and the desires to maintain the world peace and to promote mutual benefits.This article analyzed the methods of the western developed countries to solve their energy problems. Then combined with our national energy strategies and policies, and the status of the energy work, in the visual angle of peaceful development, this article raised some suggestions to solve the problems which troubled our energy security a lot, which including, to participate the international cooperation more actively; to participate the international competition more actively; to solve the territory and marginal sea disagreements well; to establish the strategic oil storage, etc.
