This study concerned the relationship between stress intention to turnover and burnout in Hi-Tech enterprises, which locus of control moderated the relationship among stress and burnout. There are three stages in this study. At the first stage, the author proposed a basic theoretical model and hypothesis concerned, based on literature review; At the second stage, the initial model was tested by an interview; At the third stage, about 200 people from 19 Hi-Tech enterprises were surveyed through questionnaires to test the model through data. The conclusions indicated that:1. There are three dimensions of burnout, including exhaustion, cynicism and professional efficacy.2. Burnout affects intention to turnover significantly. Exhaustion and cynicism can be good predictors of intention to turnover, but the predicting effect of professional efficacy isn't significant.3. Locus of control and stress have an significant influence on burnout. Stress can predict professional efficacy well, and locus of control can predict exhaustion and cynicism to a certain extent.4. Burnout mediates the relationship between stress > locus of control and intention to turnover. At the same time, exhaustion and cynicism mediates the relationship between stress and intention to turnover wholly, and mediates the relationship between locus of control and intention to turnover partially.5. Under different age and length of service, significant variance exists on the exhaustion, cynicism and professional efficacy. At the same time, significant variance exists on exhaustion, cynicism under different type of enterprise.6. Locus of control moderates the relationship between stress and burnout.
