China's Major Automakers Regional Competitiveness And Enhance The Research

Auto-industry is an industry needs dense capital, dense technique and dense labor. It is high in added value and large in relevancy, and has great impact on the national economy, employee, interrelated industry and people's living standard. Entering WTO, we obtain good opportunity, though are facing huge challenge in China's auto-industry. Facing the fierce competition of auto-industry, especially the international challenge, we should cultivate core-competence and competitive edge of China's auto-industry.There are five parts concluded in the paper. The first part has a detailed review on offshore and domestic theory and method of value about industry competition capacity. The second part analyzes the theory of industry competition capacity, core-competence and industry cluster, determines five sources of China's auto-industry capacity: the enterprise scales which can bring the advantage of low cost, difference of product and service, advanced technique, industry cluster and institution which fits in with China's auto-industry, and acoordingly designs the evaluation mode which accommodates China's auto-industry competition capacity. The third part designs the corresponding index system according to the evaluationmode and introduces the evaluation methord -principal component analysis. Thefourth part, based on the principal component analysis, evaluates and analyzes the automobile industry competence capacity among China's main regions ofauto-industry-the Pearl River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta, northeast China, theregion in Tianjin and Beijing city, central China and southwest China. The fifth partstudies how we can promote competition capacity from five aspects: enterprise scales, difference of product and service, technique, industry cluster and the government's decision-making.The paper's purpose is to promote China's auto-industry competition capacity. I hope it can help the operation and scientific decision-making in auto-enterprise, and have positive effect on the development of China's auto-industry.
