Regional Industrial Structure With The Structure Of The Problem

China has been taking economic structure adjustment as the pivotal task of its economic development for a long time, though industrial structure convergence, which has become the main problem during the structural adjustment process, is not solved drastically, but becoming worse and worse. Therefore, it is necessary to find out the essential cause of the industrial structure convergence.This paper firstly illustrates the universality and urgency of the industrial structure convergence in China by analyzing the industrial structure of five provinces in central China. Then, the paper uses game models to analyze the relationship between central government and local authority, the relationship between local authorities, the relationship between enterprises and how their choices directly result in the occurrence of industrial structure convergence. This helps to find out that the local authorities' excessive profit-pursuing is the essential cause of the industrial structure convergence. After studying the invalidation of the traditional regional profit harmonizing mechanism, the paper putsforward building a new regional profit harmonizing mechanism------profit-equity mechanism, which provides a new guiding principle to the solving of the industrial structure convergence. At last, the paper raises some measure advices to solve the problem of industrial structure convergence from the view of game body, game payoff and game circumstance.
