| With economic and market globalization, it has been gradually realized thatthe logistics industry plays important role in the national economy. After China'saccession into WTO, the global competition has led many cities to make thelogistics industry as their pillar industries. Under the guidance of Growth Poletheory, this dissertation focuses on analyzing how to build regional logistics hub,and uses Zhuhai as a case study。 The author investigates Zhuhai's geographicallocation, economic conditions, logistics infrastructure and market demand.Based on these analyses, this research concludes that Zhuhai should become aregional logistic hub of the western Pearl River Delta. Some policy implicationson how to build Zhuhai into a modern regional logistics hub are given in the end. |
