In the recent several years, Chinese enterprises merged andpurchased more and more foreign corporations and news of this type oftenappear on the newspaper. And this attracts the attention of all over theworld. But the monographs on this field are difficult to find and therelative documents are scarce. The aim of writing this article is to makea comparatively systematic exposition and analysis.This article includes five parts. According to the Chineseenterprises′ cross-boundary mergers and acquisitions, the author firstanalyses it′s historical background and present condition. Second, theauthor analyses the characteristics and the intention of these mergersand acquisitions. Next, the author mainly expound from the politicalobstruction of target country,the limitation of enterprises and defectsin the macroeconomic system in operation when talking about the problemsand challenges that the Chinese corporations have to face. In the forthpart, the author put forward four feasible suggestions: propagating andgoing canvassing,reselecting the target corporation,paying greatattention to the role of the specialized organizations and choosing themethod of payment flexibly. Nowadays, Chinese enterprises frequently merge foreign corporationsand more and more enterprises are eager to do it. Nevertheless, the authorpoints out his opinion: the cross-boundary mergers and acquisitions arenot appropriate for every Chinese corporation and they should do it withgreat care.
