Study Of China's Salt Industry Structure To Adjust Their Thinking

Salt is indispensable in our daily life. It is also widely applied in chemical industry and many other industries. China is the second biggest salt produce country in the world and the sea salt products ranks first among all countries. In recent years, salt industry has been kept adjusting to the economy's development of our country. It made our salt outputs and the level of the science and technology improved greatly. But there are still lots of problems exist, which are focus on the inconsequence of the factories'organization, the structure of production, the constitution of products, and the region distribution. The amount of factories is excessive, but the size is small, scattered and weak. The technology and the equipment are inferior to those in the developed country. The resources cannot be used efficiently. The industry has low economic benefit and poor competitive power. These problems restrict the healthy development of the industry. Based on these problems in salt industry and the marketing demands, this article brings up "structure adjustment"concept to salt industry. Besides hands on changing structure of production, products, and the region distribution, focus on adjusting the factories'organization. We are looking forward to see a new salt industry with optimized structure, reasonable composition, and high efficiency in the next five years to improve the industry competition and satisfy people's need.
