With the rapid development of national economy, the tourism industry has obtained the huge development, tourists are also increasing rapidly, with the attendant tourism income has increased rapidly, the tourism industry has become one of China’s rapid development, the most dynamic emerging industries and economic growth point. As a new theory of tourism marketing, tourism destination marketing is the integration of tourism area and travel related businesses, organizations, attractions are "packaged" marketing. Focus on the future of tourism destination marketing is marketing theory combined with the actual situation of tourism area to carry out.S tourist resort is a government to lead the business tourism enterprises, double development task facing the market of enterprises’ economic benefit "and policy oriented enterprises" social responsibility ", as the red tourism based holiday resort, its tourism development is faced with many opportunities and challenges, need marketing strategy effective scientific guidance. This paper mainly carries on the analysis using the SWOT analysis method for S tourist resort of the marketing status and environment, advantage, disadvantage, opportunity and challenge of finding S tourist resort currently exists, then on this basis, market segmentation, S tourist resort on the strategic use of STP theory to choose the target market and positioning.Conclusion, in the state AAAAA class tourist attractions to create successful, through the 3-5 years, with international standards to strengthen the special tourism zone theme, based on improving the tourism tourist resort on the service facilities, improve quality of tourism services, and ultimately to the construction of S tourist resort as influential, international and domestic first-class Jiangnan leisure tourist area.
