Research On China - Singapore Trade Depth

With the ongoing improvement of economic integration in both globalization and regionalization, global trading is increasingly significant in the global economic field, while financially promoting each individual country as well. As two of the most vital nations in Asian, China and Singapore has maintained a steady growth peace in mutual trading since they established diplomatic relationship since 1990. In 2008, these two countries established free trading area, which is a pioneer step after the AFTA ASEAN Free Trade Area formation. This accelerating act promotes China to the most significant trading partner country of Singapore, in the meanwhile; Singapore becomes China’s greatest partner in ASEAN, which is also a proficient contribution to their economic power.This paper analyzes the current situation, problems and countermeasures in mutual trading between China and Singapore, implying methodologies of theoretical analysis, document research, data statistics and historical logic integration. It is comprised of six chapters. Firstly introduces research background, research methods, literature review, innovations and shortcomings. The second chapter is mainly analyzed business development of China and Singapore with respect to its history and current situation. By analyzing the developing procedure of trade value, the process variations of business combination index and the changing tendency of RCA of those two countries, the complementarity, competitiveness as well as problems in the process of business development have been identified.The Third Chapter analyzes the mechanism how trading drives economical development, implying to the two countries’ trading practice. Main influential issues of deeply co-operation of the two countries have been discussed in the Fourth Chapter. It consists of the detrimental of downturn in the international economic and trade situation to bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries, problems existing in the structure of trade between the two countries, the challenges of trade bring by the two counties’ trade policy system.The main theme of the Fifth Chapter is the new opportunity of deeply development of the two countries in the context of the booming of Maritime Silk Road Area in 21 th century, including the Attain to establish unified big market, expanding the size of the market, Well versed in southeast Asia, southeast Asia to dissolve the impact on the trade between the two countries in developing countries,Optimizing the structure of trade and import and export market structure, Promote China’s opening to the outside world, deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and so on.The last chapter would come up with some relative political suggestions with regard to the existing problems in the process of cooperation between China and Singapore.This paper has been conducted relatively comprehensive analysis with regard to business trading of the two countries, the total trading volume and current situation of development of trading mechanism, the new circumstances of international economical trading faced by these two countries as well as problems existed have been identified based on analyzing. At the same time, political recommendations have been provided in terms of promoting the development between the two countries, hopefully it would end up with slightly positive contribution to the booming of the business development and global trading as whole.
