Energy is one of the basic condition of human social life and economic development, as a source of energy, natural gas has been the world attention. Natural gas as a kind of high quality resources, plays a more and more important role. In the 21st century, the development and utilization of the natural gas in China, has been made great progress with the rapid development of the market. In such a large development period, how to locate with the natural gas enterprise, giving full play to its advantages, and establish the marketing strategy to mach the rapid development of the market, as a result to improve the enterprise’s core competitiveness. Therefore, combined with the needs of market development, the research of the west-east gas pipeline company’s marketing strategy, will be beneficial to the sustainable development of enterprises and the natural gas market.This article take west-east gas pipeline company as the object of study, using the marketing theory of the consumer behavior analysis, sustainable development, product strategy, pricing strategy, channel strategy, combined with the world’s natural gas industry development trend and the status of the gas market of the domestic, to keep gaining insight into the west-east gas pipeline company’s marketing of the natural gas. Through the analysis of the internal and external environment, pointing out the importance of healthy and scientific development of the natural gas marketing of the west-east gas pipeline company, exploring the strategy of containing natural gas market expansion, from west to east gas pipeline and gas market capacity, in accordance with the law of supply and demand and market and other according to the existing resources and environmental conditions, the study of natural gas marketing strategy system, improve the west-east gas natural gas marketing problems, promote the sustainable development of west to east gas pipeline and gas market.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first two chapters are mainly about the current background, research significance and the introduction of the relevant marketing theory. The third chapter is to analyze the current situation and problems of the current marketing situation and problems of the west-east gas pipeline company.The last three chapter is the analysis of the external environment of natural gas and using the relevant marketing theory to analyze the west-east gas pipeline company’s marketing strategy and strategy to give advice and implementation plan,to improve the shortage and defect of the existing marketing strategy and come to the conclusion. The main contents are as follows:in the historical opportunity of the rapid development of natural gas market, the company should focus on establishing a perfect natural gas marketing management system, improving the natural gas pricing mechanism and implementing diversified marketing strategy of natural gas products, focusing on the customers which can make us get the investment back soon, and to take measures to implement sustainable development strategy.
