A Study On The Development And Function Of Transportation In The Far East Development Of The Soviet Union (1917-1941)

Far East is the raw material base for Russian(Soviet Union) economy, which plays an important role in the economic development of Russia(Soviet Union). The transportation is the bridge of logistics and population flow between Far East and other areas of Russia(Soviet Union), which directly affects the economic development and foreign relationship the Far East.Russia(Soviet Union) always attaches greater importance to the construction and develpoment of transportation in view of the politics, economy, society, population and national security. The situation and developoment of transportation determines the development potential and prospect of the country and region in a certain extent.Based on the Russian historical data, this paper reviews the process of the recovery and development of the transportation in Far East. It further analyzes and discusses the influence of transportation on the social politics, economy and culture in the process of the Soviet Union’s development on the Far East.This paper consists of the introduction, text and the conclusion. First, combing the Far East area social economy and transportation development of the before and after the establishment of the Soviet regime, its the foundation of the research. Second, this paper discusses the problems and causes of the transportation system from 1917 to 1941. And during this time, the reform and development of the transportation system and the construction of the new road. Third, to study the transport resume the Far East connection, protect the needs of the residents of the region, accelerate the development of the region, promote the development of the city and promote the development of regional economy. The sound development of transportation accelerate the process of the development of the Far East and has a decisive impact.
