With the vigorous development of real estate industry in China, much attention has been paid to community business in the commercial layout in China over the years and the proportion of community business in the retail business is increasing gradually. However the situation of community business in China is not optimistic now, still regarded as untidy and dirty. There is an obvious contrast between the community business in Japan and China. Japan’s community business succeeded in growing rapidly during the post-war economic boom period, which is similar to China’s current situation of community business. But Japan’s business community is now in its decline after decades of development. We can say that the development of community business in China is likely to follow Japan’s way. Under this situation, how to guarantee the long prosperity and delay the arrival of decline of China’s community business has become one of the big issues at the moment. The customer satisfaction of community business will become one vital factor. This paper focuses on how to improve customer satisfaction and community business in China. Firstly, this paper has made a summary, which has mainly analyzed the current research situation in both China and Japan, of related research concerning Japan’s community business and customer satisfaction. Secondly, this paper has analyzed the development history and current situation of community business in Japan. Thirdly, in order to make this paper more understandable, this paper has analyzed the current situation of community business in China and made a contrast of current development situation between China and Japan. On this basis, this paper has analyzed factors of customer satisfaction of Japan’s community business and come up with the model of customer satisfaction of community business in Japan. According to the model mentioned above and the existing item design of questionnaire, this paper has devised a questionnaire on customer satisfaction of community business in Japan. Firstly, conduct descriptive statistical analysis by using data collected from questionnaire. Secondly, analyze the validity and reliability of the questionnaire by using spss21.0. Thirdly, analyze the relationship between variables by using correlation analysis. Finally, test the influence of factors towards dependent variable, customer satisfaction by using regression analysis. Then according to the results, this paper aims to put forward several suggestions on the premise of improving customer satisfaction for community business in China. Japan’s business community has reached its mature point after decades of development. In this paper, by analyzing consumer satisfaction of community business in Japan, has put forward suggestions for the development of community business in China. Hope this paper can help the development of community business in China.
