In the historical process of development of human society, the relationship between technological transfer and economic growth is inseparable. Science and technology have become an important driving force for achieving sound development of economy. Technological transfer between different countries plays an important role in enhancing economic development between different regions and countries in the world as well as achieving economical catch-up for developing countries. The starting point of this paper is from the perspective of technological transfer, studying the growing fact of achieving economical catch-up for developing countries. On the basic of combining with the neoclassical growth model and the endogenous growth model, establishing the basic and patulous models of the effect of technological transfer on achieving economical catch-up for developing countries. In the process of economical catch-up for developing countries has a phased characteristic. Therefore, the developing countries must know their different development phase, and make different measures in different development phase. Only in this way can developing countries achieve the purpose of economic catch-up.
