Based on Web technology, the new test systems can be going on in any place, at any time. Further more, the teacher or the administrators can control the degree of difficulty in this new test system. Computer also does the paper marking and analysis automatically in this new test system. The teachers can avoid doing the tiring and meaningless checking work. In one word, there is more agility in network testing than in traditional testing. Network examination is becoming part of the construction of long-distance education and campus informalization in higher schools.This Network test system aims to explore a new test form based on the internet. This system is constructed in Java language, whose characteristic is"compile only once, circulate around". Java language is favor by the technology of JDBC API, EJB, (Enterprise Java Bean), Java servlet API, JSP and XML. This system integrates the language of HTML, dynamic HTML and the technology of ASP and ActivX. Web Server take charge of the management of this system. The Web Server gets the request of the user from the user's browser under HTTP protocol. The user gets the feedback from the user's browser under HTTP protocol. This system answers for the requirement of the teaching and studying in modern times.Under this network system, the teacher can make test paper easily; the student can take the examination at their convenience (test freely, unit test, simulate test), have the problem notebook in this system. The system maintenance is also one of this system's functions.
