As a critical infrastructure of digital campus, the security situation of campus network not only effects on the development of teaching, research, management and communication, but also effects on the development of the function of digital campus. With the continuous development of information, colleges and universities depend on networks more and more, and network security is becoming increasingly prominent. Especially with the deepening of network applications, the network attacks is geometrically growing and all kind of security issues make campus network often in a sub-healthy state. In addition, the expansion of the network scale and continuous improvement of the user requirements for network performance make security issues of campus network widely concerned. How to improve the safety of campus network is a systems engineering. Safety precautions not only need partial treatment, but also need a full range of consideration, not only need passive prevention, but also need active prevention. Only by this way, we can get the initiative on the network and prevent intentional or unintentional attacks so as to guarantee the normal operation of the campus network.Hunan Institute of Technology, incorporated Hengyang campus of Hunan University with Hunan Urban Construction College, is college newly promoted and has three campuses. Digital Hunan Institute of Technology is guiding plan of information building after the institute was established. Base on Hunan Institute of Technology campus network and its characteristics, this dissertation analyzes the factors of security issues of campus network, the weaknesses of TCP / IP, the ternary theory for solving security problems, and P2DR technology model, introduces the hierarchical concept of OSI / ISO model. Security issues of the campus network are studied by dividing it into physical system level, network level, the operating system level, database system level, application system level, operation management level and so on. The facing risks of each aspect, interrelated aspects, security needs and solutions are studied in detail. Every level and every aspect of security solutions are based on the combination of collaborative applications, so as to establish the system of solving security problems of throughout campus network. The experimental results show that the design scheme is rational and meets requirement of college network security.
