In current production environment, the way in which multiservers work together is generally simply the superposition of them. In such situation, blindly increasing the number of hardware is the only way to meet the new and ever-growing requirement of enterprises (especially large and medium sized ones) for business logic processing. The shackle of high input and low output can be broken by improving the computing model of server cluster. A common problem of existing systems, howerer, from a fundamental point of view, is how to include both computing and storage at the same time; designed patterns play a crucial role in the course of continuous improvement in these two aspects. This dissertation starts from an actual demand of current largest network corporation in the country, and does a in-depth research in three fields (cloud computing, high-performance storage and design patterns) related to high-performance computing, and puts forward five basic design ideas, thus building a mathematical model with analysis and demonstration and implementing Extended Logic Cloud system (ELC system for short) based on this model, and it concludes with the laboratory validation of ELC system.Specifically, there are two main contributions:1. Proposing five basic ideas of the design of server clusters; building a mathematical model with analysis and demonstration to the idea of cross-over groups, which is very important. The five basic ideas of design of server clusters are: the idea of cross-over groups, the idea of active-load balancing, the idea of loosely-coupled focus, the idea of multi-level caches, and the idea of whole volume of backup. All of these impove the availability, efficiency, fault-tolerance, and disaster-tolerance effectivelly. The building of cross-over groups demonstrats the marked throughput increasing of system from the mathematical point of view, using algorithm to find out the superior deployment matrix. From the mathematical logic, the optimal deployment matrix does always exist. Unfortunately, this article does not figure it out.2. Designing and implementing ELC system with nessesary verification. Although ELC is designed and developed based on the actual needs of a corporation, it has a certain degress of generality, which can be used to meet the demand of high concurrent of small logic processing. Also to be noted, ELC does not support splitting and collaboration of large-scale business logic operations. This article offers pratical solutions in the face of thorny issues during designs and implementation of ELC system. A series of experiments are taken, with detailed data obtained, and in-depth analysis and assessment, all of which finally proves the excellent high concurrency, the good fault-tolerance, and the high convergence efficiency of ELC.
