Due to sensor nodes'limitations and the impact of some uncertain factors of the surrounding environment, it seriously hampers wireless sensor networks'application and development. Therefore, reducing energy consumption and improving data transmission reliability is the core issue of wireless sensor networks. Routing protocol is the interaction between network data, and routing design with low energy consumption and high reliability is an effective way to solve the above problem. In addition, a sensor node's location information is an essential part of the collected data, and without location information the monitoring message is usually meaningless, so the localization for wireless sensor networks also has a critical importance. This paper directs at that, at present, some applications based on wireless sensor networks have the need that multiple source nodes simultaneously transmit data to multiple mobile sink nodes, and proposes a new location-based routing protocol with low energy consumption and high reliability transmission. At the same time, in order to determine each node's location in the routing process, this paper mainly directs at the localization for mobile nodes and proposes an improved Monte Carlo localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks.1. In the routing protocol design. Divide the target area into some virtual grids; Introduce the node management and communication between nodes; Through introducing the forwarding candidate set, coordinates set, search region set, resort timer and repeat counter and so on, ensures a highly efficient and stable data forwarding to sink nodes; Through introducing the tolerance round effectively reduces energy consumption, and in theory, deduces the optimal radius of tolerance round and the optimal virtual grid side.2. In the localization algorithm design. Describe the principle of particle filtering and the localization method for mobile nodes using Monte Carlo method; Introduce some typical Monte Carlo localization algorithms and proposes their shortcomings and improvement plans; In the forecast period, adopt the method of uniform sampling to obtain more effective and reasonable sample; Through each node's average speed, maximum location error and reliability to obtain more credible temporary anchors, further narrowing the anchor box, thus improves MCB algorithm in the sampling phase. This papaer has made a detailed theoretical analysis and design specification of the proposed routing and localization algorithm, and introduced the simulation tools: Truetime toolbox and mcl-simulator, and compared the experimental results. Experimental results show that the proposed location-based routing algorithms has good performance in the aspect of energy consumption and reliability transmission, and the proposed localization algorithm for mobile nodes has the better performance with high localization accuracy and low energy consumption compared with MCL, MCB and LMAF algorithm.
