| Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation are the pivotal techniques of the array signal processing. In conventional DOA estimation methods, because of solution of subspace eigendecomposition, the capacity of DOA estimation methods can not exceed the number of the array, and hinder the development of DOA estimation techniques in implement. Using the time information of reference signal to estimate the target DOA to make subspace eigendecomposition unnecessary, and the capacity be large than the number of array of signal in active radar, sonar and communication.This dissertation make the mainly research focus on the DOA estimation method based on the reference signal, especially in subarray beamforming DOA estimation method, which is a novel and advance algorithm. This technique can estimate the target DOA in the presence of interference, and make capacity of this method can be far larger than the number of antenna element. Based on this, several modified method are proposed in this dissertation, and numerical simulation results can verify the effectiveness of algorithms.For fast DOA estimation, this dissertation use the Multistage Nested Wiener Filter, which can be widely used in engineering, replace the beamformer based on Wiener Filter structure in SBDOA method, and propose a novel DOA estimation method-MSNWF-DOA. This method realizes computation of inversion of covariance matrix becomes unnecessary and thus reduces the complexity of computation. Simulation results demonstrate the advantage of this method.For DOA estimation method based on uniform circular array, this dissertation uses the mode transformation algorithm, and combines the structure of circular array and SBDOA and proposes the UCA-SBDOA. This method can provide 360°of coverage in azimuth plane.For L-shape DOA estimation method, this dissertation study the 2-Dimension method, including cross-correlation ESPRIT, auto-pair matching method, and propose a new method based on L-shape. Simulation results demonstrate the ascendant performance of this method. For 2-L shape DOA estimation method,this dissertation assume a new definition of DOA, and study the 2-L shape ESPRIT method, auto-pair matching method, and 2-L shape DOA estimation method. Simulation results verify the performance of these methods. |
