Ad Hoc Key Management Scheme For Research

Ad Hoc network is a new type of wireless network, and it has important applications in daily life, and also has important scientific value. With the depth study of Ad Hoc network, the security threats have to become an important bottleneck to stop its development. In the security issues that Ad Hoc Network faced, key management is the weakest part in the Ad Hoc network security system, and it is also the most vulnerable part of the system.1. It proposes a new fully distributed key management scheme in the Ad Hoc network. The fully distributed key management scheme is need the offline certification, it is not entirely self-organization. The key management scheme this thesis proposed is not rely on network infrastructure, and the entire network activities are depend on the nodes' cooperation. This scheme has a good certification success rate, certificate update success rate, and the update success rate of the primary key.2. The key management scheme is combined the strategy of the dynamic assessment trust, it can improve the security of the system. The nodes are divided to several kinds based on the trust degree. Any node in the network with the high trust degree can do more network activity, and the nodes with low trust degree may be less involved in network activities. The trust degree of the node can be updated through the behavior of nodes in the network. It will not only improve the network security, but also ensure the network availability.At last, this thesis gives a conclusion and presents the research direction about the key management scheme in Ad Hoc network.
