| The antenna of a mobile phone is close to our face when we call somebody by a mobile phone. The microwave radiation is directly acting on our head. When we are using data services, although the mobile device is some farther from our body, but the power is bigger than that when we have a call. When the power of the microwave absorbed by body is beyond a limited value, our body will be harmed. In the paper, SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) to the handsets' users is the main research object. How to measure and assess SAR, how to decrease the effects of SAR to protect people are the important issues in the paper. What's more, some comparison and research on the SAR limit value and SAR measurement standards of different country are made, which provides some reference for the formulation of SAR national standards.In the paper, the damage of the electromagnetic radiation, the conception of electromagnetic radiation and SAR value is introduced. Related standard on SAR limit value and SAR measurement of different country are studied and compared. The numerical methods of modern electromagnetic theory are also introduced, which is the base of SEMCAD software emulation. The EM model of mobile phone SEMCAD is given then, the arithmetic of FDTD is given in brief.In the paper, some simulation results and analysis results is given by using SEMCAD simulation software. Some test is also done by using DASY4 system which is manufactured by SPEAG company. Some discuss is given from these results. By the comparisons of the SAR results and simulation data, it is proved the scheme of simulation by using FDTD method has good precision. It is a good scheme to get SAR value by simulation during the phase of development and pre-authentication.On the basic of SAR measurement, we discuss the characteristic of SAR of some handsets of different types, some operated on different frequencies, and some used in different manners. In order to decrease the near-field radiation of mobile phone and keep people' health from the radiation, some investigations about how to control and decrease SAR are made. All the work above provides some reference for the implement of national standard of SAR limit value and measurement methods, on the other hand, it is significant for controlling SAR to ensure people's health. |
