Design And Implementation Of The Card System Based On The Campus Network Security Solutions

The One Card Through Of the School (OCTOS) system, being the foundation of the campus digitalization, acts as the key role in the financial management of the whole university. With the value of the system seen clearly, many universities have launched the investigation. So far, eighty percent of universities have introduced the OCTOS. China University of Petroleum has delivered the system since the research is finished, with the cooperation of BANK OF CHINA DongYing Branch.In the prior period of the OCTOS,potential problems are revealed, such as the relative high cost of employment, obstacles in system information share, lack of common use in different areas. Based on the prior problems and current state of the system, security problems in bank transfer of OCTOS are analyzed while problems to be solved in current use are revealed. Solutions for various problems are developed in the following areas, selection of database, programming language and RFID card, adoption of IPC technology and key mechanism, management of illegal lists, scheme of cards storage, data logging off mechanism.The system utilizes computer terminals based on the campus network, to share the information between card holders and business agencies, while between different sections. Cash follow transfers to data follow, which reduces cost and brings security, efficiency and convenience compared to the traditional manual operation.
