With the improvement of computer science and communication technology, the modern mobile communication entire enters the third generation mobile communication. 3G provides high speed data transfer rate for mobile device. But this transfer rate is not enough for many fashion internet applications. For this reason, 3GPP started a research on next generation mobile communication many years ago. At last, 3GPP brought out Long Term Evolution as the solution and evolution to next generation mobile communication. In LTE, OFDMA and MIMO is the core technology of physical layer. With 20MHz system bandwidth, LTE can provide 100Mbps peak data transfer rate in downlink and 50Mbps peak data transfer rate in downlink.Random access technology is an extremely important part in mobile communication. Random access is the only way which UE can access into the mobile networks. The quality of random access will affect the uplink channel capacity and stability. This paper concentrates on LTE random access technology and its implementation on DSP.Introduce the basic concept of LTE protocol structure and physical layer; include the division of each channel, frame structure and physical layer resource mapping. It's a base for the research which will talk below.Research the basic property of LTE random access technology; talk about different types for LTE random access technology. The research concentrates on the structure of LTE random access channel, includes the preamble symbols, the preamble formats, the preamble generation sequences, the frequency structure and resource mapping configurations. According to the research above, the essay put a algorithms design for the receiver of TD-LTE random access channel.Construct random access simulation model with MATLAB. Verify the research result with this model. Test the performance of the receiver. Implement the receiver on MSC8156 DSP. Verify the DSP program on MSC8156 with MATLAB simulation model. At last test the performance of the receiver on MSC8156 DSP.
