In this thesis, phase-shifter which is an important part of phased array antenna is studied. Design, simulation, and testing work was done toward phase-shifter at 445 MHz and 35 GHz which included lumped adjustable phase-shifter at 445 MHz, integrated phase-shifter based on BST/BZN at 445 MHz, and integrated phase-shifter based on BST/BZN at 35 GHz. In this article, the following work about phase-shifters is carried out:1. With the development of the phase-shifter against the background of the general, design, simulation, and testing work was done at 445 MHz which included the arbitrary-coupling broad band lumped-element quadrature coupler, spiral inductor, meander line inductors, phase-shifter unit, and lumped transmission/reflection-type adjustable phase-shifter based on varactors and there appropriate theories. The test results tell the indicators meet the requirements completely.2. Integrated phase-shifter based on BST/BZN at 445 MHz was designed using coplanar waveguide structure. The circuit structure's select is determined by the BST/BZN production process, and also mending-line inductor is used. Computer-aided design software HFSS for a complete modeling and analysis to determine the various parameters is used too. Target is achieved by simulation with the aid of the computer-aided design software, and test.3. Integrated phase-shifter based on BST/BZN at 35 GHz was accomplished using fin-line structure and suspended microstrip structure. Also, design, simulation, and testing work were done completely under the BST/BZN production process, the test method, and the circuit structure. The target was consistent with the expected.
