Spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a hotspot in recent years; spaceborne SAR distributed simulation system has great significance on spaceborne SAR studies. High Level Architecture (HLA) which based on distributed simulation system provides a suitable platform for the simulation of spaceborne SAR system.The coupling at distance and azimuth of SAR echo makes the signal processing complicated. In the spaceborne condition, the blended surface of the earth's surface and the curve of the satellite trajectory increase the complexity of spaceborne SAR signal processing. In the simulation of spaceborne SAR system, we use the rotating ellipsoid Earth model and the elliptical orbit of the satellite to close to the real situation. Comparing the sphere Earth model and the circular orbit of the satellite, the calculation of the instantaneous slant range becomes very complicated.This dissertation is studied the Range-Doppler (RD) imaging algorithm of spaceborne SAR system, designs and implements the federation member of algorithm processing of spaceborne SAR system which based on the HLA distributed simulation system. The main research contents:1. This dissertation is analyzed the imaging model of spaceborne SAR and the basic principles of imageing processing and studies the RD imaging algorithm detailly and simulation the algorithm with Matlab in the case of positive side view and band.2. This dissertation is established the rotating ellipsoid Earth model and the elliptical satellite orbit and describes detailly the method for solving the instantaneous slant range of spaceborne SAR on this basis. In order to verify the imaging effects of RD algorithm of spaceborne SAR, we establish the imaging scene coordinate system and generate the SAR echo signal.3. Being at the framework of spaceborne SAR distributed simulation system that based on HLA, the dissertation is designed the RD algorithm federal member and divides the algorithm into different dunctional modules under the algorithm flow.4. The design of the RD algorithm is loaded into the simulation of the federal members of the federation and is simulated. The result shows that the member of the federation can provide the correct image.
