Based On The Structural Characteristics Of The Library Of Pro / Engineer Mechanical Parts Process Design And Research

With the manufacturing information development, rising levels of industrial standardization, designing of standards structure and common structures used more and more. Establish a standard structure and common structural core of the process structure of library has become one important means to improve the efficiency of product design and shorten the product development cycle. Changeing the traditional process design method to enhance the efficiency of product design, has become an important subject of Mechanical engineering. Enterprise wishes to develop, we must improve the design efficiency and quality. Wider application of CAD software and its secondary development is the key to improve the efficiency and quality of product design.This paper mainly bases on the secondary development technology of the Pro/E and designs process structure of mechanical parts library, which has changed the traditional process design method and improved design efficiency significantly.In the study based on literature, commonly used mechanical parts classification and coding process structure was made. Process structure of mechanical parts library is developed in Pro/E platform development with Visual C++2005. NET environment, by the application of the framework provided by the MFC resource, and database access technology (ADO), and SQLServer2005.Process structure of mechanical parts library can achieve structural designs for rapidly designing process structures, such as casting process structures, forging and stamping process structures, welding and riveting pieces process structures, Machining process structures, make "Mechanical Design Manual" electronic, standardized and generate new technical features according to user needs. Finally, it validates the practical through some examples.
