With the rapid growth of Internet, World Wide Web (WWW) has become an enormous, dynamic information service network with multiple information resources and worldwide sites. Traditional information retrieval technologies can not meet the need for better understanding and processing information on semantic level. However, based on semantic understanding, semantic retrieval has become a hot topic. Ontology, as the basic of Web information sharing and exchanging on the semantic level, plays a key role in semantic retrieval. At present, most researches of semantic retrieval-based ontology assume ontology contains all knowledge, and have not considered the impact on having no available domain ontology on information retrieval performance. In addition, they have not made full use of the relations of concepts in domain ontology.To solve these problems, this paper combines traditional keyword indexing and semantic indexing method, and extend the weight of part of the relationship of the ontology the based on the weight of the concept-document proposes a ontology-based semantic indexing strategy.The main contents are:The first chapter is Introduction, briefly introduces the research background and significance of this paper, and summarizes the research status of semantic retrieval, and analyses its problems, and illustrates the content and organizational structure.Chapter 2 is an overview of relevant knowledge. This chapter is divided into four sections, section 1, through the development of the information retrieval, the basic definition of the information retrieval, the classification of the information retrieval, the classification of the information retrieval model,the four face make an overview of information retrieval. Section 2 describes the structure of the Semantic Web and the concept of the ontology, the function of the ontology, the classification of the ontology and the description languages the ontology and build tools the ontology. section 3 and 4 mainly introduces index and semantic indexing.Chapter 3 is the Semantic Indexing Strategy of the ontology of C++issues. From the designing of the Semantic Indexing Strategy on the ontology of C++issue, the building of the C++Ontology, the vector space model, semantic information processing and the calculation of weight this four aspects discusses and proposes ontology-based semantic indexing strategy.Chapter 4 is experimental test. This chapter tests ontologic semantic indexing strategies of the third chapter on the Semantic Indexing Strategy on the ontology of C++issue, and completes the experiments of segmentation and indexing to test the validity of the index strategy. Chapter 5 summarizes the full paper. This chapter analyzes its shortcomings and areas for improvement, and forwords the future of work.Anyhow, as the continuous development of semantic web technology, semantic retrieval as a new thing will be the future development of information retrieval. The semantic retrieval will eventually transcending the retrieval literally, and realize the real knowledge retrieval of users.
