A digital signature scheme is analogous to the traditional handwriting signature. Since it achieves unforgeability, integrity and non-repudiation, digital signature plays an important role in E-commerce and E-government. For a secure designated verifier signature scheme,if we could shorten its length,it would be significant. Hence, short designated verifier signature is particulally usefull in circumstance where bandwidth is limited. In this thesis, we research the optimization, the design of short digital signatures and its application in society-oriented cryptocryption, which consists of the following aspects:1. Based on bilinear pairings,we present two short signatures.(1) Shrinking the parameters length,we improve Kang's scheme and present an efficient short signature scheme(2) We improve Du and Wen's scheme, and present a short and publicly verifi-able signature scheme from bilinear pairings.2. Based on Tan et al.'s proxy blind signature and Abe and Okamoto's signature with message recovery, we present a proxy blind signature scheme with message recovery.3. Discussed short signature's application in object-oriented cryptography. The paper points out the weakness of the previous signcryption scheme in Zhang et.'s scheme, and constructs a new signcryption scheme. |
