Navigation Interface To Quickly Develop The Design Of The Model And The Event Module

With the development of embedded technology, more and more embedded electronic products with nice and friendly user interface appear in the market.The nice user interface could help the customer operating easily and attracts more customers. So the development of user interface in embedded device has become very important in the product development activities.If we find a way to separate the development of user interface from the product development,which is built by a visual tool,I think the development will become more efficiency, the cost will be down and the product will be more competitive.With the background of the development of vehicle navigator user interface, we describe a new model for user interface development in this article, which provide a visual environment to create the user interface instead of writing abstract code, and it make the development become more rapid and easier than before.We also give the realization of event subsystem for this model.At the start of this article, we analyze the procedure of the UI development and submit the new develop mode which divide the develop activity into UI and function part to reduce them coupling. Then we get the key elements from the feature and the composition of the vehicle navigator and create the new rapid model for UI development.The model has two important parts:Integrated development environment on PC client and UI library for runtime for embedded device.The IDE is a tool running on PC side with function to manage the UI project information and provide visual editor for UI development.It can generate the UI code and binary resource automatically according to the developer design in the editor.Runtime library is the core of this model,it provide the support for basic graphics,event handling and special control library. It is compiled with the UI code generated by IDE tool and parser the resource file on run time. With new rapid develop model,the development become visual and convenient and can get the UI framework code automatically. We describe the design of this model and the realization of event module;I hope it could give more support for embedded development of user interface.
