Along with the rapid development of the computer and the Internet, massive computing resources including storage are idled and wasted due to emerging of new technologies and applications. The development of peer-to-peer network, especially DHT, provides an effective technology to integrate network edge resources. By constructing a safe distributed storage systems based on the cooperation, one can access the storage resources distributed on the Internet as transparently as locally. This idea maximize the computing power of human society and has evident requirements of the times.By thorough studing the classical DHT models, this thesis improved Chord of the prototype. The author innovated and designed a kind of DHT application model called HSChord to apply to the design of the system called HSCSS, revised and improved the Routing Lookup Algorithm, enhanced Hierarchical and Secure. The related works reduced the probability of structured P2P networks of vulnerable being attacked by malicious node, such as: Sybil Attack and Byzantine Attack, etc. The scheme that the ID of a node was allocated and signed by the kernel node contributed to enhancement of the system robustness. Realized the 0(1) level lookup in a network with millions nodes. On the other hand, we experiment to solve the problem of consciousness and the consistency of topological, base on the sample of near 16,384 assigned public IP address of nankai university, in order to solve the inefficient of data migration and replication between logical neighbor nodes in P2P overlay network. Designed a kind of suitable offline CA mechanism for overlay network of this system by studying the Symmetric Ciphers, Public Key Cryptography and PKI based on the smart card. Realized files redundant code through the research and improvement Erasure coding technology.In order to verify relevant theoretical research, a validation prototype version of distributed HSCSS had been developed with Visual C++ under the WindowsXP operating system. Different with the existing network storage system's design concept of "exclusiveness, high-speed", HSCSS focus on "Cooperation" to provide a transparent, high reliability, disaster tolerance of distributed storage system for upper application without increasing proprietary equipment and changing the patterns of use on existing platform.
