The high frequency(HF) fast frequency hopping(FFH) technique, improved the capacity of anti-jamming and anti-fading, and also the capacity of confidentiality, it's great advanced than the tradidtional HF conmmunication techniques. HF automatic link establishment(ALE) technique, highly improved the speed of establishing a communication link and the quality of the link in a HF channel. In recent year, the Third Generation Automatic Link Establishment(3G-ALE) technique has been proposed, represents the researching and developing direction of the ALE technique.This dissertation discussed the FFH and 3G-ALE techniques, and on that base, this paper focused on the combination of FFH and 3G-ALE techniques, and the solution and software implementation.Chapter one, gives a brief introduction of the features of High Frequency channel, Frequrncy-Hopping Communication technique and Automatic Link Establishment technique.Chapter two, on the base of introducing the generation of the Third Generation HF Communication network, particularly and detaily introduced the key techniques and protocols of 3G-ALE.Chapter three, on the base of researching the 3G-ALE techniques of the U.S. military standard, and also considering the features of the FFH technique, a ALE calling method for HF FFH communication system has been proposed, and simulated this method in computer.Chapter four, introduced the hardware platform of the system, the architecture of the FFH Communication system is provided and a on-line user code boot method base on this hardware platform is proposed. This part also gave the hardware background for software design and implementation.Chapter five, provide the software solution and implementation for the FFH controller on the given hardware platform. Chapter six, presented the testing experiment of the software of the FFH controller, the result shows the feasibility of the FFH controller software. And the procedure, the meeting problems and the corresponding solutions are given.Chapter seven, conclusion and contribution of this thesis.
