Sexual Social Network Structure Analysis Method And Its Applications In The Study Of Cluster Innovation

Since the ninetieth of the twenty-first century, social network analysis has developed rapidly. The development exhibits firstly in the abundant appearance of the achivements in relative research, representing that it has become a hot spot in academic field from numeral characteristic. In general, the new progress of social network analysis exhibits concentratedly in three aspects, the first is the deepening of the theroy of social network analysis. In recent years, western scholars has made further development in the theoretic research in social network analysis, and widened views for structural analysis. One prominent and representional achivement is the 'structural hole' theory by Ronald S. Burt and the research of social capital by Feinan etc, and so on. The second is that the technology for network analysis is more matured. The theoretic developments of social network analysis cannot be seperated with the advancements in technology, and as the research of social network becomes more dependent in numeric analysis, which lies on formal language and technology, especially with the wide application of computer technology, the modeling for network analysis is also deepened.The third is that the application area for social network analysis is more wide. Recently social network analysis is applied widely, and has made larger influence, and its main application area is not only limited in traditonal relations of small groups, family relations or social support network etc, but expanded in every area of human activities, including all aspects from social life to political activities and economical activities, from inter-personal relationship to the word system.But the implementation of relative conceptions is ususally concentrated in aspects like communication intensity, network position, network density, centricity and structural hole. The research of social network structural equivalence mainly stops in theory, espcially it was never applied in cluster innovation networks. In this paper research is done in the problem of cluster innovation, beginning from the view of structural equivalence of social network. Firstly the analyzing methods for structural equivalence is introduced,with the processing of data from structural equivalence, block model and the construction of image matrix emphasized, and the flow chart of structural equivalence is given; then the application of structural equivlence in cluster innovation is discussed, and the influence of block model and image matrix in structural innovation is emphasized; finally the theory above is applied in the cluster of equipment manufacturing in Deyang, with four kinds of connection relation analyzed, including the connection relation in enterprises, in enterpises and univeresities, in enterprises and agencies, and the comprehensional connetion relation in enterprises, universities, institutes and agencies. In the application research the software Ucinet6.0 for social statistics is used, with the analyzing method of CONCOR. In the end many useful conclusions are drawn.
